This is a custom commission for Roberto. He is a fan of convertible VWs, and owns two. A red one and a silver one which has a darker silver door. After some discussion he wanted an all-sycamore concert sized ukulele. I designed some ‘moving’ VW bugs up the fingerboard done in pearl and recon-stone, with his name on the headstock done in paua abalone pearl.
