I call this tenor ukulele the “Tribute to Martin Guitar” since it is built out of scraps from dumpster-diving at Martin Guitar back in the 70’s. I have had these small pieces of wood around ever since, and finally got around to doing something with them.
East Indian Rosewood back and sides, sitka spruce top, black-white-black purfling, curly mahogany binding, ebony fingerboard, paua abalone rosette, rosewood bridge, mastodon ivory saddle, modified Martin-style ‘torch’ inlay on the headstock.
