The inspiration for this banjo was a drawing of a fiddle playing cat used for the logo for a local old-time music festival. It is apparently from an old German wood-block print.
- Neck: Curly maple with carved heel, red abalone “skunk stripe” up the back
- Pot: laminated maple, with curly maple outside and inside with rosewood cap, rolled brass tone ring suspended on brass pins
- Hardware: all brass, including gold colored EVO fret wire
