#46 Parlor Guitar

This was a commissioned parlor guitar.  The owner likes hummingbirds so that is what we put on the headstock.  Then, rather than just flowers on the fingerboard, we put a vine with flowers, and, because her husband is a bee keeper, we put a bee in the heel.

Black walnut back and sides, streaky water-tank redwood top, Alaskan yellow cedar neck with a black walnut center spline, sycamore binding, black-red-black purfling, asymmetric rosette in pink abalone, Richlite fingerboard and headplate, ebony bridge, black Corian nut, bone saddle.
